Abadat (a-bá-dat) - a word from the old Čakavian dialect meaning to observe and to notice - is an independent window gallery inviting you to do the same.
Located by the seaside at the entrance to Poreč’s old town, a very active pedestrian passage used daily by both locals and visitors.
Each presentation is minimal: one artist, one artwork, held in place for a certain time. Curtains frame the space from the front and back, creating depth, while light falls directly onto the work, forming something like a quiet stage.
There is no clear beginning or end and no opening hours.
