Ivana: “Handglasses explores the relationship between identity and the way we present ourselves to others. I like playing with the idea that the artwork observes those who observe it, creating a shift in roles between the viewer and the viewed. The face is hidden behind the hands, yet the eyes remain present and intense. For me, this creates an interesting tension between protection and exposure, raising questions about how much of ourselves we reveal and how much we keep hidden. I like when a work leaves room for different interpretations rather than offering clear answers.”
